This Privacy Policy explains how Akad collects, uses, and safeguards information provided by businesses that engage with our platform. By accessing or using the service, you acknowledge that you have read and understood this policy.

Information We Collect

• Business profile information you submit, including business name, contact details (WhatsApp), service states, categories, pricing ranges, bios, descriptions, and social or website links.
• Logos and gallery images you upload to showcase your services.
• Account and authentication data.
• Usage analytics and operational logs.

How We Use Information

• To create and manage your business profile and placements.
• To communicate important updates, billing, and support.
• To improve reliability, security, and performance.

Data Sharing and Retention

• We do not sell personal data. We share information only with service providers that enable core platform functions — including cloud hosting and infrastructure (Google Cloud and Firebase), email delivery, and analytics — and who are bound by confidentiality obligations.
• Your published business profile (such as your business name, images, categories, service areas, and contact links) is displayed publicly in the Akad Planner app so that couples can discover and contact you.
• Data is retained for as long as needed to deliver the services or as required by law. If you delete your account, we remove your profile from public view and retain residual data only as long as necessary for legal, security, or operational purposes before deletion.

Paid Services

Akad offers optional paid services such as promoted placements and Pro plan upgrades. Payment for these services is currently arranged with you directly — typically over WhatsApp or by invoice — and is not processed automatically through the platform. Consequently, we do not collect or store payment card information. We do not use your data for third-party ad targeting. We will update this section if automated payment processing is introduced.

Your Choices

• You may request access, correction, or deletion of your data.
• You can opt out of non-essential communications.
